Role Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and well-connected Business Development Manager to spearhead our Pan-India growth. The ideal candidate will leverage an existing network to establish and nurture long-term client relationships, focusing on securing repeat business from major brands, corporates, and franchise chains for our turnkey interior solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Relationship Building: Identify, connect, and develop deep relationships with key decision-makers within Retail, F&B, Hospitality, and Corporate Offices.
- Lead Generation: Proactively generate and manage a pipeline of qualified leads through direct outreach, referrals, networking events, and trade shows.
- Sales & Pitching: Present and effectively pitch KMS Interior’s end-to-end turnkey interior solutions, tailoring proposals to specific client requirements.
- Strategic Partnerships: Convert one-time projects into Pan-India partnerships for recurring interior and fit-out projects across multiple locations.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Design, Project, and Estimation teams to create comprehensive proposals and quotations.
- Negotiation & Closing: Negotiate and close profitable contracts, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate CRM records, sales pipeline reports, and ensure monthly target achievements.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Experience: Proven, successful experience in business development or corporate sales within the interiors, architecture, construction, or fit-out industries is mandatory.
- Network: Strong, verifiable network of existing brand and corporate contacts (especially within retail, F&B, and franchise chains).
- Core Skills: Excellent communication, presentation, and high-level negotiation skills.
- Mindset: Strategic thinker with a strong focus on converting short-term opportunities into sustainable, long-term partnerships.
- Travel: Willingness and ability to travel Pan-India extensively as per business requirements.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Interior Design, or a related field. (MBA preferred but not mandatory).
