Business Development Manager - Job Description
RawTrade International FZE is an international trading and distribution company. Rawtrade’s core activities are Trading and Distribution of Petrochemicals and Chemical Fertilizers. Rawtrade is fortunate to gain success in the Middle East region and over the years has acquired vast market knowledge and contacts in over 6 0 countries in the Middle East, Africa, Europe, Asia and America.
Rawrade International is looking to hire a Business Development Manager either full time or on a contractual basis, with experience in Trade Support and Project Management, preferably someone who has an immense knowledge of the MENA and the European market.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Responsible for trading of fertilizer and industry chemicals across the international markets both in containers as well as in Bulk.
- Grow and develop the sales and business of the organization and accordingly identify new business opportunities within the assigned region for expansion.
- Build trustworthy relationships with new and existing customers and eventually bringing in own contacts.
- Assist the Managing Director in developing strategies for new business development and eventually building your own network.
- Work closely with operations and administration teams to ensure a smooth supply chain.
- Grow the commercial profile of the business with new clients whilst upholding pre-existing clients across International Market
- Managing local trading operations from enquiry generation through to payment while adhering to company SOPs and legal compliance.
- Work with regional and international teams to coordinate price hedging, process of sales, counterparty liaison etc.
- Comprehensive strengths in Market Analysis, Business Development and Sales Strategy Development
- Demonstrated ability to build territories, expand opportunities and achieve the given targets.
- Lead client’s meetings both virtually and in-person and deliver presentations.
- Spearhead the implementation of Rawtrade’s newest project of an online trading platform and educate prospective traders, customers, and suppliers with regards to the ease of using an online trading platform for business.
- Proactively monitor the market trends and changes in the chemical trading industry to identify new business opportunities and build a book of new fertilizer customers in target markets.
- Should have proven sales record in developing and generating new business.
Experience, Qualifications & Skills:
- 3-5 years of experience in a trading company, preferably from chemical trading industry.
- Degree holder in Chemical Engineering / BSC Chemistry / MBA International Business or any relevant course.
- Knowledge of MENA and the EUROPEAN market are a must.
- Proven track record and direct experience with Saudi market and other GCC market is a must.
- Resourceful with a strong exposure in Trade Support and Project Management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; the ability to call, connect, and interact with potential customers, suppliers, and senior management
- Good presentation skills and time – management skills.
- Persuasive and goal- oriented with leadership skills.
- Ability to lead and work within a team.
- Should be available to join immediately.

Pay: From AED8,000.00 per month
