We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager to lead growth efforts in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction services or materials, a deep understanding of market dynamics, and a proven track record in B2B sales or client acquisition. This role involves strategic planning, market expansion, relationship building, and driving revenue through new and existing business channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in construction and infrastructure sectors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, architects, developers, and government bodies.
- Prepare and deliver proposals, presentations, and bids to potential clients.
- Develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies to drive growth.
- Conduct thorough market research to stay informed of industry trends, competitors, and potential partnerships.
- Participate in tenders, bids, and pre-qualification processes.
- Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums.
- Collaborate with internal teams (engineering, project, finance) to ensure successful project execution.
- Meet or exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and prepare regular progress reports for management.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline using CRM tools.
Experience:
- 2+ years of proven business development or sales experience in the construction industry (contracting, consultancy, materials, or equipment).
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, procurement practices, and client decision-making cycles.
