Job Description: Business Development Manager – Cybersecurity SolutionsExperience Level: 4–8 YearsDepartment: Business DevelopmentReports To: Chief Sales OfficerRole Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and highly driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead sales initiatives and accelerate growth for cybersecurity products and services. The ideal candidate will play a key role in identifying new revenue opportunities, managing strategic client relationships, and promoting cybersecurity solutions within the BFSI sector and new-age digital organizations.

Key Responsibilities1. Sales & Business Development

  • Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities in areas such as network security, endpoint security, cloud security, and threat intelligence.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve defined revenue goals.
  • Generate a strong sales pipeline through networking, cold outreach, industry events, and referrals.
  • Conduct effective sales presentations and product demonstrations tailored to client needs.
  • Respond to RFPs and prepare compelling sales proposals and solution documents.

2. Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders such as CISOs, CIOs, CTOs, and IT Heads.
  • Manage key accounts to ensure high customer satisfaction and long-term strategic partnerships.

3. Market & Industry Analysis

  • Stay informed on the latest cybersecurity trends, emerging threats, and technological advancements.
  • Analyze competitive landscapes and contribute to developing effective counter-strategies.
  • Provide market insights and customer feedback to internal teams for continuous improvement of products and services.

4. Collaboration & Reporting

  • Collaborate closely with marketing, product, and technical teams to refine go-to-market strategies.
  • Provide regular pipeline updates, forecasts, and performance reports to senior leadership.
  • Represent the organization at trade shows, cybersecurity conferences, and networking events.

Key RequirementsEducation & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • 4–8 years of experience in B2B sales or business development within the cybersecurity or IT solutions domain.

Technical & Sales Skills

  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity offerings (firewalls, SIEM, SOC, IAM, cloud security, endpoint protection, etc.).
  • Proven experience in achieving sales targets for enterprise-grade cybersecurity or IT solutions.
  • Experience selling to enterprise clients, new-age digital companies, and mid-market organizations.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts in a business-focused and simplified manner.
  • Hands-on experience with CRM platforms, pipeline management, and structured sales methodologies.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation capabilities.
  • Strong consultative selling approach and problem-solving mindset.
  • Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of working independently.
