We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to expand our Access Control and Security Solutions business. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, driving sales growth, and promoting integrated access control solutions across multiple industry verticals.
Roles & Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Sales
- Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities in access control and integrated security systems.
- Generate leads through consultants, contractors, system integrators, and direct clients.
- Achieve assigned revenue and gross margin targets.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand market presence.
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing.
2. Client & Market Management
- Build strong relationships with consultants, MEP contractors, ELV contractors, facility managers, and end users.
- Conduct client meetings, site visits, and technical presentations.
- Understand client security requirements and propose suitable access control solutions.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and new technologies.
3. Technical & Solution Selling
- Promote access control systems including:
- Biometric readers (fingerprint, facial recognition)
- RFID & card-based systems
- Turnstiles & barrier gates
- Time & attendance systems
- Integrated CCTV & security software platforms
- Coordinate with technical and presales teams for solution design and BOQ preparation.
- Support tender submissions and project documentation.
4. Project & Partner Management
- Work closely with installation and project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
- Maintain relationships with key vendors and technology partners.
- Follow up on payments and ensure commercial compliance.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or related field (MBA is an advantage).
- Minimum 5+ years of proven experience in business development or sales within:
- Access Control
- ELV Systems
- Physical Security Solutions
- Integrated Security Systems
- Strong understanding of project-based sales and tendering processes in the UAE.
- Experience working with consultants and government or semi-government entities is preferred.
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
- Valid UAE driving license is preferred.
