The Business Development Manager is responsible for generating new business, securing contracts, and expanding the company’s portfolio within the Qatar facilities management market. The role is primarily sales-driven, focusing on Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC)for Hard Services and Housekeeping & Cleaning Contracts for Soft Services.

The ideal candidate must have proven experience in Qatar, strong client connections, and a solid track record of closing FM contracts. This position requires a highly motivated professional with excellent networking, negotiation, and relationship-management skills who can directly contribute to company growth and revenue.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Development & Sales (Core Responsibility)

  • Actively identify, pursue, and secure new FM contracts across Qatar.
  • Focus on winning AMC contracts for Hard Services and Housekeeping/Cleaning contracts for Soft Services.
  • Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline with measurable conversion targets.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual revenue targets through new deals and renewals.
  • Leverage existing client relationships and industry connections to generate immediate business opportunities.

2. Hard Services – AMC Focus

  • Promote and secure Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) for:
  • HVAC systems
  • MEP services
  • Electrical & Plumbing
  • Civil & general maintenance
  • Identify properties requiring long-term maintenance solutions and convert them into AMC clients.
  • Coordinate with technical teams to develop competitive AMC proposals, scope of work,and pricing

3. Soft Services – Housekeeping & Cleaning Contracts

  • Drive sales for Housekeeping, Cleaning, and Specialized Cleaning Services.
  • Target residential compounds, commercial buildings, malls, offices, hotels, hospitals, andindustrial facilities.
  • Secure long-term and large-scale cleaning contracts with SLAs and KPIs.
  • Work closely with operations to ensure service feasibility and smooth mobilization post award.

4. Client Relationship & Networking

  • Maintain strong professional relationships with:
  • Property owners and landlords
  • Real estate developers
  • Facility managers
  • Consultants
  • Government and semi-government entities
  • Represent the company in meetings, presentations, industry events, and networking forums in Qatar.
  • Strengthen the company’s brand presence through professional engagement and relationship management.

5. Tendering, Proposals & Negotiation

  • Lead the end-to-end sales process from lead generation to deal closure.
  • Prepare, submit, and follow up on RFPs, RFQs, and tenders.
  • Coordinate internally for costing, manpower planning, and technical inputs.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, pricing, and contract conditions to ensure profitability

6. Market Knowledge & Strategy

  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the Qatar FM market, competitors, pricing trends, and client expectations.
  • Identify upcoming projects and expansion opportunities within the market.
  • Provide management with market insights, forecasts, and business development reports

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Number and value of new contracts secured.
  • AMC contract wins for Hard Services.
  • Housekeeping & Cleaning contracts awarded.
  • Revenue generation and deal profitability.
  • Client retention and contract renewals

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Facilities Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–8 years of proven business development experience in the Facilities Management industry in Qatar.
  • Demonstrated success in bringing FM contracts and closing deals in Qatar.
  • Strong existing client connections and network within the Qatar market.
  • Solid understanding of AMC models, FM pricing, SLAs, and service mobilization.
  • Experience handling both Hard and Soft Services sales is mandatory.
  • Arabic language skills are an advantage.
  • Valid Qatar driving license preferred.
