Sales & Marketing Manager – Freight Forwarding

Industry: Logistics / Freight Forwarding

Job Description:

1. Promote and sell freight forwarding services in a professional and saleable manner,

including Air Freight, Sea Freight (FCL/LCL), and related logistics solutions.

2. Possess in-depth knowledge of all logistics products and services to effectively address

customer requirements.

3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers to

generate new business opportunities.

4. Identify, approach, and onboard new clients through market research, networking, and

direct sales activities.

5. Maintain a strong customer base with a proven industry reputation.

6. Understand market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to enhance business

growth.

7. Coordinate with internal operations and customer service teams to ensure smooth

execution of shipments.

8. Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to overall business revenue growth.

9. Represent the company professionally at client meetings, industry events, and

negotiations.

Required Skills & Competenciies:

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong understanding of the freight forwarding and logistics industry
  • Ability to demonstrate and position services effectively to clients
  • Good knowledge of cargo types and industry-specific goods exposure
  • Self-driven, result-oriented, and customer-focused

Experience:

  • 4 to 9 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding / logistics sales .

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
