The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by securing new contracts and long-term supply agreements for uniforms and garments within the Qatar market. The role is highly sales- and results-oriented, focusing on identifying opportunities, building strong client relationships, and closing deals across multiple sectors.
The ideal candidate must have proven experience in Qatar, an established network of clients, and a strong background in the uniforms and garments manufacturing industry. This position requires a proactive professional who can bring immediate business, negotiate contracts, and contribute directly to the company’s expansion.
Key Responsibilities
1. Business Development & Sales (Core Focus)
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities for uniform and garment supply contracts in Qatar.
- Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets through direct deal closure.
- Build and manage a strong sales pipeline with a focus on repeat and long-term contracts.
- Convert leads into confirmed contracts through effective negotiation and relationship management.
2. Contract Acquisition & Client Management
- Secure uniform and garment contracts from key sectors including:
- Corporate offices
- Facilities management companies Hospitality (hotels, restaurants, catering)
- Healthcare (hospitals, clinics, medical centers)
- Education (schools, universities)
- Industrial, oil & gas, construction, and security companies
- Maintain strong relationships with decision-makers such as procurement managers, HRmanagers, facility managers, and operations heads.
- Identify upselling and repeat-order opportunities with existing clients.
3. Networking & Market Presence
- Leverage existing market connections to generate immediate business opportunities.
- Actively participate in meetings, client visits, exhibitions, and networking events in Qatar.
- Strengthen the company’s market presence and brand awareness through professional engagement.
4. Proposals, Pricing & Negotiation
- Prepare and present professional quotations, proposals, and product presentations.
- Coordinate with production and operations teams to ensure accurate costing, timelines,and capacity planning.
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and contract conditions to ensure profitability andclient satisfaction.
- Lead contract discussions until final agreement and signing.
5. Market Knowledge & Strategy
- Maintain strong knowledge of the Qatar uniforms and garments market, including competitors, pricing structures, and client expectations.
- Monitor upcoming projects, tenders, and bulk uniform requirements across sectors.
- Provide management with market insights, forecasts, and business development reports.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Number and value of new contracts secured.
- Monthly and annual revenue achieved.
- Conversion rate of leads to contracts.
- Client retention and repeat business.

Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Fashion Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of proven business development or sales experience in the uniforms and garments industry in Qatar.
- Demonstrated ability to bring contracts and close deals independently.
- Strong existing client connections and industry network in Qatar.
- Experience dealing with bulk orders, tendering, and long-term supply agreements.
- Solid understanding of fabric types, uniform specifications, production timelines, and quality standards.
- Arabic language skills are an advantage.
- Valid Qatar driving license preferred.
