The Role
The Business Development Manager, International Student Recruitment, will play a key role in expanding our footprint across global markets. This role is ideal for individuals who are target driven, well connected within the education sector and confident in building partnerships that lead to new student enrolments.
Please note that this is a commission based only position, offering excellent earning potential for high performers.
Key Responsibilities
Market Expansion and Partnerships
* Identify and develop new international markets for student recruitment
* Build and manage partnerships with education consultants, high schools, colleges, language institutes and pathway providers
* Conduct market research to understand student mobility trends and emerging opportunities
* Promote partner institutions through presentations, webinars and international outreach
Student Recruitment and Engagement
* Generate high quality student leads and enquiries
* Represent Travelbells Immigration at recruitment fairs, exhibitions, virtual events and school visits
* Guide prospective students on admissions, programme choices, tuition fees, scholarships and visa processes
* Work with the marketing team to deliver region specific campaigns
Relationship Management
* Maintain strong and productive relationships with agents and partner institutions
* Provide training and updates to agents on new programmes, admissions changes and processes
* Respond to enquiries promptly and uphold the highest service standards to maximise conversions
Internal Coordination
* Work closely with admissions, marketing and counselling teams to ensure smooth application processing
* Track student applications, conversion rates and recruitment targets
* Ensure compliance with ethical recruitment standards and country specific regulations
About You
We are looking for someone who has
* Experience in international student recruitment or education consultancy
* Strong communication and relationship building skills
* A results driven mindset with the ability to work independently
* A professional network within international education (preferred but not essential)
* The flexibility to work across different time zones and attend online or in person events
* A commitment to ethical, student centred recruitment practices
