We are a fast-growing recruitment business with strong experience in building recruitment operations, scaling teams, and delivering workforce solutions across multiple sectors.

We are now expanding into the US IT recruitment market and are looking for a sharp, commercially driven Business Development Manager to help grow our client base across the United States.

This is a high-impact role for someone who has proven experience dealing with US clients, understands the recruitment sales cycle, and knows how to open doors, win business, and build long-term revenue.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced business development professional who can identify, approach, and secure US-based companies hiring IT professionals across permanent and contract roles.

Your main focus will be generating new business, building strong client relationships, and creating a consistent pipeline of IT recruitment opportunities in the US market. You will work closely with our recruitment delivery team, but your core responsibility will be winning new accounts and driving revenue.

This role is best suited to a hunter profile: someone confident, target-driven, commercially aware, and comfortable speaking with founders, HR leaders, CTOs, hiring managers, and senior decision-makers in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business opportunities within the US IT and technology sector
  • Identify US-based companies hiring software developers, engineers, product teams, data professionals, DevOps, cybersecurity, cloud, ERP, QA, and other IT talent
  • Approach potential clients through calls, emails, LinkedIn, referrals, networking, and market mapping
  • Book meetings with decision-makers and present tailored recruitment solutions
  • Win new client accounts and build long-term commercial partnerships
  • Develop a strong pipeline of permanent and contract IT recruitment vacancies
  • Work closely with the recruitment delivery team to ensure roles are filled successfully
  • Maintain regular communication with US clients, prospects, and key stakeholders
  • Track sales activity, pipeline progress, client feedback, and revenue opportunities
  • Meet agreed business development, client acquisition, and revenue targets

Requirements

  • Prior experience dealing with the US market is compulsory
  • Previous experience in business development, sales, or client acquisition within recruitment is required
  • Strong understanding of IT, technology, or technical recruitment markets
  • Proven ability to generate leads, open new accounts, and win business independently
  • Excellent English communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Confidence speaking with US-based senior decision-makers and hiring leaders
  • Commercial mindset with strong focus on targets, revenue, and client growth
  • Self-motivated, resilient, and comfortable working in a performance-driven environment
  • Ability to manage a sales pipeline and follow up consistently
  • Experience in contract or permanent IT recruitment is strongly preferred
  • Existing network within the US technology, software, startup, SaaS, fintech, or IT services market will be a strong advantage
  • Comfortable working night shift from 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM PKT
