Job Overview
As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new market opportunities, driving strategic partnerships, and boosting revenue growth. You’ll work closely with production, marketing, R&D, and sales teams to position our brand products competitively and expand our market share.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base month on month,
- Empower the team and guide them to achieve the monthly targets & review the performance of team and each individual on a regular basis.
- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including B2B partnerships, retail channels, and export markets
- Conduct market research to understand consumer behaviour, competitor landscape, and emerging trends
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and institutional clients
- Collaborate with product development and marketing teams to tailor offerings to market needs
- Lead negotiations and close high-value deals with key stakeholders
- Monitor KPIs of team members and prepare regular performance reports for senior management
- Represent the company at trade shows, industry events, and client meetings
- Forecast and share the Quarterly, Half yearly and Annual projection to the production team for planning.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in business development or sales, preferably in FMCG or detergent/chemical industry
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth and market expansion
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams
