Each month our team supports dozens of conferences, corporate meetings, and live productions across the region. From a simple one-camera webcast to full-scale multi-camera productions with live switching, graphics, lighting, and sound, we bring creative vision and technical expertise together to deliver remarkable experiences.

Our clients include corporations, trade associations, universities, hospitals, government agencies, marketing firms, hotels, and convention organizations across the Gulf Coast.

We are seeking a motivated Business Development Manager to help expand our client base and grow our presence in the Gulf South event and video production market.

Position Overview

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying new opportunities, building relationships with organizations that host events or require video production services, and converting those opportunities into long-term client partnerships.

This is an excellent opportunity for a self-starter who enjoys networking, meeting clients, and helping organizations create impactful live and digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities across the New Orleans and Gulf Coast region
  • Generate leads through cold outreach, networking events, and industry conferences
  • Build relationships with corporations, universities, associations, government agencies, hotels, and marketing firms
  • Schedule and conduct client meetings to understand event and production needs
  • Present Moxie’s capabilities and production solutions to prospective clients
  • Work with internal production teams to develop proposals and project concepts
  • Close new business and build long-term client relationships
  • Manage and nurture company-provided leads while generating your own pipeline
  • Represent Moxie at regional industry events and networking opportunities

Ideal Candidate

We are looking for a relationship-driven professional who is comfortable initiating conversations and building partnerships with organizations that host events or need professional video production.

You should be comfortable working independently, creating opportunities, and representing a highly respected production company.

Qualifications

  • Experience in sales, business development, event production, or video production preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to generate leads through networking, outreach, and professional connections
  • Comfortable meeting with executives, event planners, and marketing teams
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage your own sales pipeline
  • Interest in video production, live events, media, or creative industries
  • Ability to travel throughout the Gulf Coast region
