Business Development Manager – Medical Sector
Location: Qatar (Local Candidates Preferred)
Experience Required: 5–10 years
Driving License: Mandatory (Qatar valid or transferable)
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager (BDM) from the medical/healthcare sector to drive business growth, expand client base, and strengthen relationships with hospitals, clinics, distributors, and healthcare institutions in Qatar.
The ideal candidate should already be locally available in Qatar with strong knowledge of the healthcare market and proven experience in medical sales or business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within the medical and healthcare sector
- Build and maintain strong relationships with hospitals, clinics, doctors, and healthcare distributors
- Promote and sell medical products/equipment/services to key accounts
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis in Qatar healthcare sector
- Prepare proposals, quotations, and contract negotiations
- Coordinate with procurement teams and suppliers
- Attend meetings, exhibitions, and medical trade events
- Provide regular sales reports and forecasts to management
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Pharmacy, Medical Science, or related field
- 5–10 years of experience in medical/healthcare sales or business development
- Strong network within Qatar healthcare sector is highly preferred
- Valid Qatar Driving License (mandatory)
- Must be locally available in Qatar with transferable visa/NOC (preferred)
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong understanding of medical products, devices, or pharmaceutical market
- Self-motivated and target-driven
Preferred Skills
- Experience with hospital tenders and government healthcare projects
- Knowledge of Qatar healthcare regulations and procurement systems
- Arabic language is an advantage
Pay: QAR10,000.00 - QAR15,000.00 per month
