We're hiring a Business Development Manager for the Middle East to join our EMEA team for a 12-month fixed-term contract.

Role Overview:
Reporting to the Regional Head of MEA & OSEU, this role will be responsible for topline growth, P&L contribution and brand development. As such, you'll lead and facilitate interactions between Fever-Tree and the local distributors for the creation of plans & day-to-day working.
The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and ambitious European team that is defining Fever-Tree's evolution as the brand continues to grow and dominate the premium mixer category. Europe is a strong growth region for the company, with a wide variety of market maturities, varied mixing behaviours, consumer nuances and commercial landscapes. Success in this role requires market understanding and a strong ability to influence local strategies in a context of international complexity.
Expected travelling time up to 30%.
Responsibilities:
Local Strategy and plans:
- Build a co-authored 3-year plan
- Guide channel strategy, pricing and distribution
- Define portfolio and innovation strategy based on market trends and potential
- Identify resources to implement future plans (internal and external)
Sales (multi-channel Retail and On Trade):
- Deliver sales targets for each market working in partnership with appointed distributor
- Build impactful sales & category management stories
- Train distributors’ sales teams and do field visits to monitor local brand development
- Be involved (on demand) in key/top account meetings
Marketing & Communications:
- Own the Advertising & Promotional budgets: plan investments and monitor ROI
- Build consistent yearly marketing plans along with local Brand Managers (normally BM dedicated to Fever-Tree within Distributors organisations)
- Be involved in the activities of the Fever-Tree international marketing community: cross-country initiatives, sharing of best practices, learnings, etc.
Reporting & Analysis (in collaboration with the Finance & Strategy team):
- Monthly Performance tracking and reporting (distributor sales, channels performance...)
- Risks and opportunities identification/ management
- Quarterly tracking of retail & on-trade performance
- Sharing of best practice with head office and international team
Relationships: Who you will be closely working with?
- Fever-Tree Regional Head MEA & OSEU (Manager)
- Fever-Tree EMEA team supports: Strategy, Finance, Global Marketing, Supply
- Distributor (on a day-to-day basis)
- Local Agencies: PR, Marketing and Digital
- Key Accounts
Requirements:
- 8-10 years of working experience across Middle East
- Strong Sales background (international exposure and retail & ontrade channels experience preferred)
- Distributors management and distributors RTM understanding
- Good understanding of brand building / marketing and trade marketing activities
- Familiarity with food and beverage industry (Soft Drinks or Spirits preferably)
- Knowledge of (or provenance from) one at least of the markets is mandatory
Skillset:
- Confident "Generalist" with strong commercial nous, brand sensibility & open mindedness
- International mindset and clear ability to passionately represent Fever-Tree
- High Energy levels with strong ability to sensibly prioritize, deliver to deadline with ‘can-do’ attitude
- Strong written and oral communication
- Observative, pragmatic, with bags of common sense
