Business Development Manager – Pre-Owned & Outside Sales

Employment Type: Full-Time, Salaried Leadership Role
Compensation: $1,000 per week base salary plus performance-based bonuses and commissions

Position Overview

Lifestyles Hot Tubs is seeking a Business Development Manager to lead and scale our Pre-Owned Hot Tub Program while overseeing key outside sales initiatives.

This role is designed for a sales-driven, business-minded leader responsible for revenue growth, team performance, and operational execution across multiple sales channels—including in-store coordination, event-based selling, and external partnerships.

Core ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Revenue Ownership

  • Own growth strategy, profitability, and execution of the pre-owned hot tub program
  • Develop deadlines, volume targets, and sales strategies for refurbished spa inventory
  • Increase trade-in volume and upgrade opportunities in coordination with retail sales teams
  • Analyze and report on KPIs including unit volume, sell-through rates, gross margin, and ROI

Outside Sales & Event Leadership

  • Lead planning, staffing, and execution of outside sales initiatives, including but not limited to:
  • Costco road show events
  • Home builder and contractor trade shows
  • Community and lifestyle expos
  • Recruit, train, and manage outside sales representatives for event-based selling
  • Ensure consistent pricing, promotions, and brand messaging across all events
  • Evaluate event performance and continuously improve results

Sales Leadership & Team Management

  • Hire, coach, and manage sales-focused team members
  • Set clear expectations, performance targets, and accountability standards
  • Work closely with marketing to drive lead generation and promotional execution
  • Align sales activity with company-wide revenue objectives

Strategic Partnerships & Market Growth

  • Develop and manage relationships with home builders, contractors, and referral partners
  • Identify new market opportunities and external sales channels
  • Expand brand presence through strategic events and partnerships

Compensation & Incentives

  • Base Salary: $1,000 per week
  • Bonuses & Commissions, including:
  • Performance-based incentives tied to refurbished spa sales
  • Commissions linked to outside sales event performance
  • Strong earning upside tied directly to revenue growth
