In the Products business unit at TÜV Rheinland, we are looking for talents who want to stand with us at the forefront of safety, quality, and innovation. - Softlines: Testing, inspection, and certification services for textiles, clothing, footwear, leather goods, and other consumer products.
- Hardlines: Safety and quality testing for household goods, toys, furniture, sports equipment, tools, and DIY products.
- Electrical: Testing and certification of electrical and electronic products, from household appliances to industrial control systems.
- Solar & Commercial: Quality assurance and certification of photovoltaic modules, inverters, and commercial technical installations.
- Medical: Comprehensive testing and certification for medical devices, from diagnostic equipment to implants, including regulatory consulting.

The salary range for this position is $80,000-$100,000 and reflects factors such as years of experience, relevant expertise, and overall qualifications.

Market Expansion: Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the solar PV and PVPP sectors, focusing on utility-scale projects.

Client Engagement: Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including IPPs, EPCs, utilities, financiers, and government agencies.

Strategic Planning: Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies aligned with company objectives and market trends.

Proposal Development: Lead the preparation of compelling proposals, presentations, and bids, ensuring alignment with client requirements and company capabilities.

Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms and close agreements to maximize profits while ensuring client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including engineering, finance, and legal, to ensure seamless project execution and client onboarding.

Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decisions and maintain a competitive edge.

Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline status, and forecasts using CRM tools

Travel to and participate in various trade shows as needed.
University Degree in Business Administration or equivalent work experience

Sales/Project experience with utility-scale solar or battery energy storage such as supply chain, engineering, testing, or similar in a B2B capacity
- 5 years of progressive marketing/sales experience in Solar/PVPP sector

Knowledge of solar PV or BESS testing procedures
- Must be articulate, professional, and be customer service oriented

Knowledge of company policies and procedures as well as business practices and product information.
- Ability to interface with all levels of the organization.
- Knowledge of MS Office
- Ability to travel significant amount of time. May include international travel. Valid Passport and Driver’s License required.
