This is a full-time, hybrid role based in our Istanbul office. We believe collaboration happens best in person, and the Business Development Manager will be a visible and active presence across the organization.


The Role: Business Development Manager, Sorbunu

As the Business Development Manager for Sorbunu , you will take a leading role in driving client acquisition, building strategic partnerships, and delivering research solutions that help brands deeply understand their consumers.


This is a hybrid strategic + operational role , blending business development, research-driven thinking, product collaboration, and marketing support. You will shape how Sorbunu grows in the market while also influencing how the product evolves.



Key Responsibilities

1) Business Development & Client Acquisition

  • Own and manage the full B2B sales pipeline
  • Identify, engage, and close new client opportunities
  • Prepare tailored product proposals aligned with client insight needs
  • Lead client meetings, demo sessions, workshops, and proposal presentations
  • Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the Denebunu ecosystem
  • Build strong long-term relationships and act as a trusted partner for clients


2) Research-Driven Client Solutions

  • Understand client objectives and translate them into actionable research plans
  • Develop research briefs, frameworks, and survey structures
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project execution
  • Analyze results and present insight-driven recommendations
  • Support clients in turning insights into decisions


3) Product Collaboration

  • Identify product needs based on market demand and client feedback
  • Prepare product requirement briefs and contribute to feature prioritization
  • Work closely with the software team to monitor development progress
  • Contribute to user experience improvements and product roadmap definition


4) Marketing & Brand Building

  • Support marketing and communication strategies across channels
  • Contribute to LinkedIn content, case studies, and insight-led storytelling
  • Help build Sorbunu’s market presence and brand positioning



Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong background in business development, client management, or B2B sales
  • Solid understanding of research design, questionnaire writing, and digital research methodologies
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to turn data into insights
  • Experience working with product and technical teams
  • Familiarity with marketing communication and content creation
  • Preferably experience in SaaS, research, marketing, or technology-driven companies
