PRINCIPAL FOCUS OF THE POSITION

Trimay is establishing a new Technical Sales & Business Development Manager role to accelerate commercial growth across utility and heavy industrial markets. This position is being created to expand market penetration and increase adoption of Trimay’s advanced wear, impact, and corrosion-resistant solutions in high-value, technically complex applications where current penetration is limited.
This role will serve as a dedicated commercial growth engine for the U.S. market, responsible for driving technical sales execution, developing new opportunities, and converting underpenetrated applications into long-term revenue streams. Success in this role will be defined by the ability to translate technical value into commercial outcomes in close partnership with internal sales and product teams.

This role will align under UCC Global Parts Sales & Product Management and work closely with:
  • UCC Field Sales (United States)
  • Trimay Operations and Engineering
  • UCC Product Management and Global Product Development leadership
The position is intended to complement and enable existing field sales activity by increasing technical depth, consistency, and proactive market development—not to replace regional sales ownership. • Expand Trimay sales in other heavy industrial markets where Trimay has demonstrated success, including mining, pulp & paper, cement, asphalt, and construction applications
  • Drive technically complex Trimay opportunities from initial application identification through quotation and order conversion
  • Work directly with customers on site evaluations, application development, wear analysis, and solution optimization
  • Proactively identify and develop new Trimay applications and expansion opportunities within existing UCC customer sites
  • Support and enable UCC Field Sales through technical expertise, application engineering support, customer presentations, and competitive positioning
  • Collaborate with UCC Product Management to prioritize target applications, product enhancements, and market development initiatives
  • Support pricing strategy, quoting input, and opportunity qualification for Trimay-related business
  • Serve as the primary U.S. liaison between UCC Field Sales, Product Management, and Trimay operations and engineering
  • Contribute to strategic account planning, long-term market development, and broader Performance Parts growth initiatives
  • Represent Trimay and UCC Environmental professionally at customer sites, industry events, and internal meetings
  • Identify operational and integration gaps affecting Trimay commercialization (e.g., ERP/CRM, knowledge transfer, engineering and supply chain) and lead cross‑functional efforts to resolve them as needed.
  • Demonstrate and promote UCC Environmental core values in all internal and external interactions
  • All other duties as assigned.
