Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to manage and grow our UK client accounts while being based in Jaipur. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in business development, sales, and client management for the UK market, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work across time zones. This is a fully client-facing role, requiring strategic planning, pipeline management, and coordination with offshore teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the UK market.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with UK clients, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Achieve revenue targets and sales KPIs for the UK region.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis specific to the UK market.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and presentations to clients.
- Coordinate with internal teams (technical, delivery, and offshore teams) to ensure successful project delivery and client satisfaction.
- Manage end-to-end sales cycles, from lead generation to deal closure.
- Track and report sales pipeline, forecasts, and client engagement metrics to senior management.
- Represent the company at UK client meetings, virtual events, and conferences.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8–12 years of experience in business development, sales, or account management targeting the UK market.
- Proven ability to manage UK clients remotely with successful business outcomes.
- Strong understanding of cross-border sales practices, UK business culture, and communication etiquette.
- Experience in IT/Technology/Software services sales is highly preferred.
- Ability to analyze business needs and propose appropriate solutions.
- Strong negotiation, presentation, and client relationship skills.
- Comfortable working flexible hours to align with the UK time zone.
Educational Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field.
- MBA or relevant sales/business development certification is a plus.
