Job description:
We are seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager (BDM) to lead our US IT Staffing business development initiatives from our Bangalore office. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Bench Sales and a proven track record in client acquisition. The role focuses on engaging with Direct Clients, Prime Vendors, and Tier-1. The BDM will be responsible for lead generation, cold calling, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, and strategic marketing to grow our client base in the US.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate leads and build a strong sales pipeline through: Cold calling, Email marketing, LinkedIn outreach, Referrals and industry networking
- Identify, target, and engage with Direct Clients, Prime Vendors, and Tier-1 Vendors in the US IT Staffing space.
- Understand client requirements and effectively market bench consultants (H1B, GC, USC).
- Drive the full sales cycle – from initial contact and requirement gathering to negotiations and deal closure.
- Work closely with Bench Sales and Recruitment teams to ensure timely and quality submissions.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients and vendor partners.
- Consistently achieve or exceed defined monthly/quarterly revenue and client acquisition targets.
- Maintain detailed documentation of activities, pipelines, and client interactions.
Requirements:
- 5 to 10 years of experience in US IT Staffing, including a minimum of 2 years in a client-facing BDM role.
- Strong background in Bench Sales with hands-on experience in candidate marketing.
- Proven ability to generate leads and close new accounts with Direct Clients and Prime Vendors.
- Excellent understanding of US work authorizations, tax terms (W2, C2C, 1099), and staffing models.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and target-driven professional.
- Familiarity with ATS/CRM tools and US job portals (Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, etc.).
Good to Have:
- Existing client/vendor relationships in IT services or staffing.
- Awareness of US market trends – high-demand skill areas like Cloud, DevOps, Data, and Cybersecurity.
- Experience working with implementation partners and large integrators.
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
