Job Description:

We are hiring a Business Development Manager & VP – Partnerships for a leading client in the Events Management industry based in Dubai, UAE. This senior leadership role is responsible for driving strategic partnerships, sponsorships, and long-term alliances that enable sustainable business growth across multiple event verticals in the GCC region.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in sponsorship strategy, partner ecosystem development, and UAE event compliance, while working closely with internal stakeholders to deliver measurable ROI and scalable partnership frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, onboard, and secure anchor partners across ticketing, media, hospitality, technology, venues, and government sectors.
• Design and implement tiered sponsorship models, benefits matrices, and activation frameworks aligned with event objectives.
• Negotiate and manage long-term commercial agreements with venues, production houses, vendors, and service providers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate sponsors, tourism boards, regulatory authorities, and community organizations.
• Oversee CRM platforms and automation tools for sponsor lifecycle management, pipeline tracking, and lead generation.
• Drive partner engagement strategies before, during, and post-events to maximize visibility and value.
• Deliver post-event ROI reporting, performance analytics, and insights to sponsors and internal leadership.
• Ensure all partnership activities comply with UAE event licensing, regulatory, and governance requirements.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• 3+ years of progressive experience in business development, partnerships, or sponsorships within events, media, hospitality, or related industries.
• Proven experience managing high-value sponsorships and long-term strategic partnerships in the GCC, preferably UAE.
• Strong understanding of UAE event licensing, regulatory frameworks, and compliance standards.
• Demonstrated success in contract negotiation, stakeholder management, and revenue growth.
• Experience working with CRM systems, reporting dashboards, and automation tools.

• Strong commercial negotiation and executive-level stakeholder management skills.
• Expertise in sponsorship outreach, tiered benefit structures, and brand activation campaigns.
