Job Title: Business Development Manager – Retail Projects

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives for Retail Projects within our Engineering Consultancy division. The ideal candidate will have a strong network in the UAE market, a proven track record in securing consultancy projects, and the ability to manage the full business development cycle from lead generation to project award.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Market Expansion

• Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the retail sector.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify emerging trends and potential clients.
• Develop and implement strategic business development plans to achieve revenue targets.
• Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads and opportunities.

Client Relationship Management

• Establish, develop, and maintain long-term relationships with developers, retail operators, contractors, and key stakeholders.
• Act as the primary point of contact for prospective and existing clients.
• Attend client meetings, industry events, and networking forums to enhance company visibility.

Proposals & Tender Management

• Lead the preparation, coordination, and submission of technical and commercial proposals.
• Review tender documents, scope of work, and client requirements.
• Coordinate with technical, design, and commercial teams to ensure accurate and competitive submissions.
• Participate in negotiations and contract finalization.

Internal Coordination & Project Handover

• Coordinate with internal engineering, design, and project management teams to ensure smooth project initiation and delivery.
• Ensure proper handover of awarded projects to execution teams.
• Monitor client satisfaction and support project teams in maintaining strong client relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 8+ years of business development experience in Engineering Consultancy.
• Proven experience in securing retail/commercial development projects in the UAE.
• Strong network with developers, retail clients, and industry stakeholders.
• Sound understanding of consultancy services, proposal preparation, and tendering processes.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work independently and achieve business targets.
• UAE driving license preferred.
