Job Description: Key Account Manager
– Events & Expo Position Title: Key Account Manager (KAM)
– Events & Expo Department: Sales / Business Development
Reports To: Sales Director / General Manager
1. Position Overview
The Key Account Manager – Events & Expo is responsible for managing and developing long-term relationships with high-value clients in the events, exhibitions, trade shows, conferences, and corporate activation sectors.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. Client Relationship Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients.
Build strong client relationships and ensure satisfaction.
Conduct meetings, presentations, and follow-ups.
Understand client objectives and deliver solutions.
B. Business Development & Revenue Growth
Identify new business opportunities in events & expo.
Prepare proposals and commercial offers.
Achieve revenue targets.
Provide forecasts and market insights.
C. Project Coordination & Execution
Coordinate with production, design, operations, and logistics teams.
Monitor timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
Attend site visits and event days.
Ensure all approvals and documentation are completed.
D. Key Account Growth & Strategy
Develop account plans to expand portfolio.
Conduct market and competitor analysis.
Support marketing and networking activities.
E. Contract & Financial Management
Negotiate pricing and payment terms.
Ensure timely invoicing and collection.
Coordinate financials with finance department.
F. Reporting & Documentation
Maintain CRM/ERP records.
Prepare weekly reports and visit logs.
Document client feedback and improvements.
3. Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Events.
3–7 years of experience in events/exhibitions.
Strong understanding of event production and operations.
Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects.
Proficient in MS Office and CRM systems.
