Business Development & Marketing Coordinator (Sales-Focused)

About Us

Temecula Wine Country Events is a hospitality collective serving weddings, private events, and corporate gatherings throughout Temecula Wine Country. Our brands include Wine Country Catering and our intimate event venue, The Nook.

We are in a growth phase and seeking a sales-driven professional to help expand partnerships, increase bookings, and support brand visibility.

Position Overview

This is a Phase 1 growth hire.

The role is structured as:

  • 70% Sales & Business Development
  • 30% Marketing Execution

The primary objective is revenue growth through proactive outreach and partnership development. Marketing responsibilities support visibility but are secondary to sales performance.

This is not a passive administrative role. We are seeking someone confident with outbound calling, comfortable initiating relationships, and motivated by measurable results.

Core Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development (Primary Focus – 70%)

  • Conduct a minimum of 40 outbound calls per week to venues, wineries, corporate offices, and local businesses
  • Schedule and attend 5 partnership meetings per month
  • Follow up consistently with bridal expo leads and other inquiries
  • Develop and nurture referral relationships
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline tracking
  • Provide weekly reporting on outreach activity and sales progress

Marketing Execution (30%)

  • Create and schedule 3–4 social media posts per week (Instagram & Facebook)
  • Write captions aligned with brand voice
  • Assist with light email marketing initiatives
  • Support promotional campaigns and brand visibility efforts

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

Success in this role will be measured by:

  • 40 outbound calls per week
  • 5 partnership meetings per month
  • 3–4 social posts per week
  • Consistent pipeline tracking and follow-up discipline
  • Growth in booked events sourced through outreach

Compensation

This position offers a competitive base pay structure with performance-based bonus opportunities.

Compensation is designed to reward proactive outreach, partnership development, and confirmed bookings. High performers will have meaningful earning potential tied directly to measurable sales results.

Ideal Candidate Profile

Strong candidates may come from hospitality sales, hotel or venue coordination, real estate support roles, or outbound marketing backgrounds.

Growth Path

As booking volume increases, marketing responsibilities will evolve into a separate creative role. This position has the potential to grow into:

  • Sales Manager
  • Director of Partnerships
  • Business Development Lead

We are looking for someone who wants to contribute to long-term growth within a multi-brand hospitality company.

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $500.00 - $1,000.00 per month

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
