A Business Development Officer’s main goal is to identify opportunities for business growth and create marketing strategies based on those opportunities in coordination with social media team to increase and exceed revenue targets set by the company.

JOB DESCRIPTION

· Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new customers to boost sales targets

· Meet with potential investors / Clients to present company offerings and negotiate business deals

· Identify or create client/prospect outreach development tools such as one-on-one meetings, seminars and speaking engagements, events, sponsorships, client alerts, newsletters, fact sheets and other direct client communications.

  • Analyse the current customer base, including portfolios, to identify potential sales opportunities
  • Review and communicate proposals and cost estimates to customers and stakeholders
  • Develop and test unique business strategies and concepts and implement

· collaborate with colleagues and peers on the sales, marketing, and product development teams to improve overall customer experience and satisfaction

· Proactively generate leads through networking, cold calling, and leveraging digital platforms

· Collaborate with technical teams to create customized proposals and solutions that align with client requirements

· Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities

· Work closely with marketing, product, and technical teams to align business development efforts with overall company goals

· Maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients using CRM tools

· Initiate contact with prospective clients through cold calls, emails, and face-to-face meetings.

· Understand client requirements, pain points, and goals to offer tailored IT solutions

  • Stay up to date on company best practices, policies, products, pricing, and promotions
  • Increase overall sales efficiency and profitability through excellent salesmanship
  • Respond promptly to any issues that directly affect sales.

· Represent the company at industry events, meetings and conferences

· Achieve monthly sales targets with demonstrable key performance indicators (KPIs)

· Present monthly and quarterly sales reports to senior board members and investors
