Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and result-driven Business Development Officer to join our solar energy division in Calicut. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, identifying new business opportunities, and promoting solar products and solutions to residential, commercial, and industrial clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate leads through field visits, referrals and networking.
- Meet potential clients to understand their energy needs and propose suitable solar solutions.
- Prepare and present sales proposals, quotations, and product demonstrations.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure repeat and referral business.
- Conduct site surveys, coordinate with the technical team, and support customers during installation and after-sales phases.
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, follow-ups, and sales activities.
- Stay updated with market trends, competitor activities, and solar industry developments.
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales/business development, preferably in the solar or renewable energy sector.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Ability to handle field work and travel within assigned areas.
- Self-motivated, target-oriented, and customer-focused.
- Basic technical understanding of solar systems (added advantage).
- Valid two-wheeler license preferred.
