Business Development Officer

About Us:
We are a fast-growing, high-performance ship chandling company in Dubai, supplying provisions, bonded stores, and technical items to vessels across UAE ports. We compete on speed, pricing, and execution — and we’re looking for someone who thrives in that environment.

The Role
We want someone who can open doors, win accounts, and bring in business aggressively. If you are driven by targets, thrive under pressure, and know how to convert opportunities into revenue, this role is built for you.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Actively hunt and close new business with ship owners, managers, charterers, and operators
  • Break into competitor-held accounts and convert them
  • Build a strong sales pipeline and consistently hit (and exceed) targets
  • Negotiate hard, price smart, and close fast
  • Work closely with operations to ensure fast turnaround and client satisfaction
  • Stay on top of port activity, vessel movements, and market pricing to capitalize on opportunities

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven track record in closing deals within ship chandling, marine services, or related industries
  • Strong existing network in UAE/GCC maritime sector
  • Fearless approach to sales — cold calling, client visits, and deal-making
  • Commercially sharp with strong negotiation skills
  • Highly self-motivated, target-driven, and results-obsessed
  • UAE driving license preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED4,000.00 - AED6,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Dubai: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Experience:

  • Ship Chandling Business Development: 2 years (Preferred)

Language:

  • English, Hindi (Preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Drivers License (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

  • 25% (Preferred)
