About Us:

Apex is a full-service digital agency offering web design, development, SEO, content writing & digital marketing. We help businesses grow online and now we’re seeking a proactive BDO to hunt new clients, win projects and expand our global footprint.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify and generate new business opportunities on freelancing & bidding platforms (e.g., Upwork, Fiverr, Freelancer.com).

Prepare and submit professional proposals for projects (web dev, SEO, marketing) and negotiate scope, budget & terms.

Build and manage a pipeline of prospective clients: outreach via LinkedIn, email, social media.

Collaborate with internal teams (design, dev, marketing) to estimate projects, define deliverables and prepare win-presentations.

Follow up with leads, maintain CRM with all activity and update status & forecasting.

Close deals and onboard new clients; maintain relationships for repeat work and upselling.

Monitor market trends, competitor agencies and platform best-practices to stay ahead.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

1-3 years of experience in business development in a digital/agency environment OR proven success on freelancing platforms.

Excellent written & verbal English and ability to craft compelling proposals.

Understanding of digital services: web development, SEO, digital marketing.

Strong negotiation, presentation and client-communication skills.

Self-motivated, goal-driven, good at follow-ups and managing pipelines.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have:

Experience specifically with managing Upwork/Fiverr agency profiles and winning bids.

Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Pipedrive, etc.).

Portfolio or track record of closed deals from similar services.
