Business Development Outreach Coordinator

Position Overview

Home Helpers Home Care of Concord, NC is seeking a motivated and relationship-driven remote Contract Business Development Outreach Coordinator to expand our client base through professional referral partnerships. This role is focused exclusively on in-person and over the phone networking and relationship building with clinical providers, social workers, discharge planners, assisted living communities, rehabilitation centers, and other healthcare agencies.

This is not a social media marketing position. Success in this role is driven by face-to-face and over the phone outreach, appointment setting, and referral conversion.

Compensation Structure

  • 1099 Contractor Base pay $17-20 per hour (Paid Weekly)
  • Commission - per new client who begins services with Home Helpers as a direct result of your referral efforts and Commission - per confirmed appointment with:

o Clinical offices

o Social workers

o Hospitals / discharge planners

o Home health agencies

o Rehabilitation centers

o Assisted living communities

o Senior service organizations

Compensation is paid upon verification of appointment attendance and confirmed client start of care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and research local referral sources within assigned territory
  • Schedule and attend in-person meetings with healthcare professionals and senior service providers
  • Present Home Helpers services, care model, and value proposition
  • Build long-term referral relationships
  • Follow up consistently with referral partners
  • Track appointments, contacts, and referral outcomes
  • Represent the Home Helpers brand professionally in the community
  • Collaborate with internal care coordinators to ensure smooth intake for referred clients

Target Referral Sources

  • Hospitals and discharge planners
  • Skilled nursing facilities

Qualifications

  • Strong interpersonal and networking skills
  • Confident communicator with professional presentation ability
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented
  • Experience in healthcare, home care, sales, or community outreach preferred
  • Ability to work independently
  • Reliable transportation required

Performance Expectations

  • Minimum number of weekly appointments set and attended (to be determined by territory)
  • Ongoing development of referral pipeline
  • Conversion of professional relationships into active client referrals
