• Build and nurture strong, lasting partnerships with referral sources including assisted living communities, independent living communities, home health agencies, hospice agencies, hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, care managers, physicians, senior centers, community organizations, among others.
• Serve as the go-to resource for families seeking compassionate home care, guiding them toward the right solutions.
• Represent FirstLight at networking events, health fairs, and community gatherings, always prioritizing connection before transaction.

• Represent FirstLight with professionalism, honesty, and transparency in every interaction.
• Maintain accurate records in CRM systems, ensuring compliance and accountability in referral management.
• Communicate consistently with families, referral partners, and colleagues to follow through on commitments.

• Share stories of impact that reflect how home care brings joy and peace of mind to families.
• Celebrate successes with referral partners, clients, and the care team to foster a spirit of appreciation.

• Share insights from the field to help shape business strategy and improve client services.
• Participate in professional development and sales coaching to strengthen your skills and expand your impact.

• Develop and execute sales strategies that expand access to quality care across Sylvania, Perrysburg, and the Toledo region.
• Actively generate referrals and track outcomes that translate directly into more families receiving the care they need.
• Work with urgency and purpose, knowing each referral means making life better for someone in your community.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, healthcare administration, or related field preferred.
• 2–3 years of successful outside sales or business development experience (healthcare or home care experience strongly preferred).
• Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Strong relationship-building, communication, and presentation skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently while traveling within the territory.
• Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.
