The Role
As a Business Development Representative at Denali, your primary focus is setting qualified appointments with owners of trade contractors. This is a high-activity outbound role leveraging phone calls, emails, and social outreach. You'll be working directly alongside our founding team and playing a meaningful role in growing the company.
Key Responsibilities
- Business Development and pipeline generation within our trade contractor vertical
- Execute high-volume outbound outreach to owners of businesses via phone, email, and social channels
- Qualify prospects and set appointments
- Clearly communicate Denali's value proposition in plain, practical language that resonates with business owners who aren't "finance people"
- Hit daily, weekly, and monthly targets for calls, contacts, and appointments set
- Maintain accurate CRM records and detailed notes on every prospect interaction
- Attend industry trade shows and events to represent Denali and build relationships, as needed
What We're Looking For
- Experience in or familiarity with the trade contractor industries and you understand how these businesses operate
- Proven outbound B2B sales or appointment setting experience, preferably calling into trades or service businesses
- No call reluctance. You genuinely enjoy picking up the phone and talking to new people
- Strong verbal communication skills; you can simplify complex ideas and speak the language of a business owner
- Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently
- CRM experience and comfort with sales technology
- Willingness to work in an environment where you are not told exactly what to do - you need to be comfortable “figuring it out” and providing value along the way

Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary of $50,000
- On-target earnings of $75,000+ with no cap
