Business Development Representative

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Representative with a proven track record in IT and software sales. In this role, you will own the end-to-end sales cycle, from hunting for fresh outbound leads across various digital platforms to managing inbound inquiries, delivering high-impact product demos, and closing deals to hit your targets.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead Generation & Outbound Prospecting

  • Actively source, hunt, and qualify new outbound opportunities using a multi-channel approach (LinkedIn, Instagram, Reddit, Apollo, Crunchbase, and Cold Emailing).
  • Craft compelling, personalized outreach campaigns that resonate with target decision-makers.

2. Inbound Management & Qualification

  • Respond promptly to inbound inquiries, assessing their business needs and qualifying them against our ideal customer profile (ICP).
  • Act as the first point of contact for our brand, ensuring a professional and engaging experience.

3. Demos & Sales Execution

  • Schedule and conduct product demonstrations, tailoring the pitch to highlight how our software/IT solutions solve the prospect's specific pain points.
  • Manage the full sales pipeline, handle objections confidently, and negotiate deals to a close.

4. Deal Documentation & Pipeline Hygiene

  • Draft professional business proposals, scopes of work, and sales contracts.
  • Maintain meticulous records of all interactions, deals, and pipelines in our CRM, ensuring data is always accurate and up to date.
  • Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales revenue targets.

Role Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 1+ years of direct experience in B2B IT sales, SaaS sales, or software agency sales (this is non-negotiable).
  • Platform Proficiency: Hands-on experience using prospecting tools like Apollo, Crunchbase, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator, as well as leveraging social platforms like Instagram and Reddit for business outreach.
  • CRM Mastery: Proven experience working with CRMs (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Pipedrive) to manage sales pipelines.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. You must be able to write sharp, persuasive proposals and deliver engaging product presentations.
  • Mindset: Goal-oriented, resilient, and highly organized. You are driven by hitting and exceeding numbers.
