Business Development / Sales Associate

Wealth Partners Capital Group (“WPCG”) is a Palm Beach, Florida-based financial services holding company. WPCG was launched in June 2017 and currently has capital investments in seven large wealth management firms. WPCG’s mission, in partnership with these seven firms, is to assist with strategic growth, via both M&A and organic growth channels. Since its inception, WPCG has closed over 191 transactions on behalf of its partner firms, which have added over $112 billion to their assets under management (www.wealthpcg.com).

WPCG is seeking to hire a Business Development / Sales Associate to join WPCG's newly formed Organic Growth Team. The Sales Associate role is a business development and strategy position focused on B2B outreach to establish institutional growth channels for WPCG’s partner firms, including 401(k)/retirement plans, CPA firms, and other potential prospects. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and qualifying prospects, conducting email and phone outreach, and scheduling and attending new business meetings. This role offers the opportunity to directly influence and help shape the strategic direction of the firm's organic growth efforts. Successful Sales Associates will have the opportunity to accompany our partners' advisory teams on initial calls and meetings, gaining experience through the entire sales cycle (from initial conversation through structuring, negotiation, and signing). 

Individuals who demonstrate impressive business development success over the course of two to three years with WPCG will have the opportunity for advancement in a Corporate Development role at one of WPCG’s partner firms.


Duties and Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Managing outreach to potential clients and institutional partners across multiple geographies
  • Planning and coordinating initial calls / meetings with senior partner firm colleagues
  • Playing a formative role in building and optimizing WPCG’s organic outreach strategy
  • CRM management
  • Other outreach and team responsibilities as assigned


Skills and Qualifications

Skills and qualifications include:

  • 1-3 years working experience in a (outbound) business development role
  • Demonstrable history of successful business development results
  • Experience with RIAs and Financial Advisors, a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Proficient in CRM, PowerPoint, MS Office
  • Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy
  • Excellent sales capabilities and communication skills


Other Position Requirements

  • Based in New York City
  • Initial compensation package ranges from $90-110k per year, commensurate with experience
