Business Development / Sales Manager – B2B Healthcare Partnerships

We are looking for a highly connected, entrepreneurial Business Development / Sales Manager to help expand EyeQue’s B2B business. This role is ideal for someone who understands healthcare and medical sales, knows how to open doors, and is excited by the opportunity to build a pipeline, secure meetings, and directly drive revenue growth.

Role Overview

This is a hands-on business development role for a self-starter who can take ownership of the sales process from strategy to close. The right candidate will first become deeply familiar with EyeQue’s offerings, value propositions, target markets, and relevant regulatory landscape, and then build and execute a lead generation and outreach strategy to secure meetings and close partnerships.

You should be comfortable creating structure where needed, developing a funnel, identifying the right decision-makers, initiating conversations, and advancing deals independently. This role requires both strong business development instincts and an understanding of the healthcare and regulatory environment in which EyeQue operates.

What You Will Do

  • Learn and understand EyeQue’s products, services, business model, B2B value proposition, and competitive positioning
  • Become familiar with the relevant regulatory environment affecting EyeQue’s offerings and target markets
  • Help refine target customer profiles, messaging, and go-to-market strategy
  • Build and manage a qualified sales funnel
  • Identify and prioritize target leads and partnership opportunities
  • Use your network and outbound outreach to engage potential customers and partners
  • Secure meetings with decision-makers in relevant organizations
  • Lead or support presentations, discovery calls, and follow-up conversations
  • Move opportunities through the pipeline and close deals
  • Provide market feedback to help strengthen positioning, pricing, and sales materials
  • Track outreach, meetings, pipeline status, and deal progress in an organized manner

  • Strong existing network in healthcare, eye care, medical devices, or related industries
  • Familiarity with the regulatory environment relevant to healthcare, digital health, medical devices, or vision care
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strategic thinker with a practical, execution-focused mindset
  • Comfortable working independently in an early-stage, performance-driven environment
  • Entrepreneurial attitude and high level of ownership
  • Experience with CRM and pipeline management is a plus

Compensation

This position is a potential contract to hire with commission-based only at the outset and is best suited for a confident business development professional who believes in their ability to generate opportunities and close business. The commission structure is intended to provide meaningful upside for strong performance, with earning potential tied directly to results.

For the right candidate, this role is not intended to remain limited in scope. A successful person in this position may have the opportunity to grow into a larger, longer-term role within EyeQue, with expanded responsibility in business development, strategic partnerships, and commercial leadership.
