Role Overview:
You are responsible for driving new business growth for a regulated Payment Service Provider operating in high-growth and complex markets. Your focus is client acquisition, revenue generation, and long-term commercial relationships across merchants, financial institutions, and digital asset businesses.
You own the full sales cycle. From prospecting to contract signature. You work closely with compliance, legal, and technical teams to ensure deals close fast and onboard correctly. Your success directly impacts revenue, market penetration, and product adoption.
This role suits someone with a strong payments background who understands regulated environments and complex onboarding.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Business Development

Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve monthly and annual revenue targets.

Build and manage a qualified pipeline across merchants, banks, fintechs, and crypto-related businesses.

Identify new markets, verticals, and use cases for payment and digital asset solutions.
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management

Source, qualify, and convert new clients through outbound and inbound channels.

Build trusted relationships with decision-makers such as founders, CFOs, and Heads of Payments.

Understand client needs across acquiring, issuing, settlement, and digital asset flows.
Deal Ownership and Negotiation

Lead commercial negotiations including pricing, volumes, SLAs, and contract terms.

Coordinate with legal and compliance to manage complex onboarding requirements.

Close profitable deals while balancing risk, compliance, and operational constraints.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with compliance, risk, legal, and integration teams to ensure smooth onboarding.

Act as the commercial point of contact during onboarding and early lifecycle stages.

Ensure client expectations are realistic and aligned with internal capabilities.
Market and Performance Analysis

Track market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments in payments and digital assets.

Maintain accurate pipeline and performance data in CRM systems.

Report weekly on pipeline health, conversion rates, and revenue forecasts.
Required Skills and Experience
Experience

2 to 3 years of business development or sales experience in payments, fintech, or financial services.

Proven track record of closing B2B deals in regulated environments.

Experience selling acquiring, PSP services, payment orchestration, or crypto-related solutions is a strong advantage.
Technical and Commercial Skills

Strong understanding of payment processing, card schemes, alternative payment methods, and digital assets.

Ability to manage long and complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders.

Comfortable negotiating commercial terms and explaining technical concepts in simple terms.
