Business Development Specialist

Role Objective:

We are seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Specialist to join our growth team. Your primary mission will be to identify new business opportunities, attract potential clients (startups, corporations, and inventors), and promote the importance of protecting intellectual property rights in alignment with the Kingdom’s Vision 2030.

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Acquisition: Proactively identify and reach out to potential clients through cold calling, networking, and social selling (LinkedIn).
• Lead Generation: Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects interested in trademark registration, patent protection, and IP consulting.
• Pitching & Presentation: Deliver compelling presentations to prospects, explaining the legal and commercial value of safeguarding their IP assets.
• Relationship Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing clients to ensure retention and explore upselling opportunities.
• Market Analysis: Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities within the Saudi IP landscape.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Law, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in business development, sales, or account management (experience in professional services or legal sectors is a plus).
• Communication: Fluent in both Arabic and English (written and verbal) is essential.
• Skills: Strong negotiation skills, a "hunter" mindset, and the ability to simplify complex legal concepts for clients.
• Tech Savvy: Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Nationality: Saudi national.
• Residency: Must be a current resident of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
