About the Role

We are looking for a Business Development Specialist (IT Sales) who understands how to sell technology services to North American clients. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who already has hands-on exposure to IT services sales, outbound prospecting, and client conversations across US/Canada time zones.

You will work closely with leadership and delivery teams to generate qualified leads, convert opportunities, and build long-term client relationships in a fast-growing IT services environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, prospect, and engage potential clients in the US & Canadian markets
  • Generate leads via LinkedIn, email outreach, cold calling, and sales platforms
  • Conduct discovery calls to understand client needs and position IT services accordingly
  • Present and sell services such as:
  • Custom Software Development
  • Web & Mobile Applications
  • AI / Automation Solutions
  • Dedicated & Augmented Tech Teams
  • Prepare proposals, pricing discussions, and follow-ups in coordination with internal teams
  • Maintain accurate sales pipelines, CRM updates, and activity reports
  • Build long-term relationships with decision-makers (Founders, CTOs, Product Managers, HR)
  • Stay informed about IT industry trends, competitors, and client pain points

Required Qualifications

  • 1–3 years of proven experience in IT sales or business development
  • Prior exposure to North American clients (US/Canada) is mandatory
  • Strong understanding of IT services, software development lifecycle, and outsourcing models
  • Excellent spoken and written English (professional sales communication level)
  • Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Sales Navigator, email tools, CRMs, or lead databases
  • Comfortable working in overlapping US time zones
  • Goal-driven, confident, and results-oriented mindset

Nice to Have

  • Experience selling custom software, SaaS, staff augmentation, or offshore development services
  • Familiarity with tools like Apollo, HubSpot, Pipedrive, Zoho CRM
  • Understanding of pricing models (hourly, fixed-cost, retainer, staff augmentation)
  • Prior experience working in a hybrid or remote setup
