About the Hiring Company:

We are hiring on behalf of a results-driven Digital Marketing and Web Development Agency offering end-to-end services including Website Design, Development, Social Media Marketing, PPC Campaign Management, and Online Advertising. The company is expanding its outreach in the Indian market and is seeking a talented Business Development Executive to support their client acquisition efforts.

Role Overview:

As a Business Development Executive, your core responsibility will be to identify, qualify, and connect with potential Indian clients in need of digital services. You’ll be researching, reaching out, and engaging with prospects to create opportunities for the sales and business development team.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Research and build prospect lists of businesses that need:

  • Website design and development (including WordPress projects)
  • Social media management and marketing (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
  • PPC/Online ad services (Google Ads, Meta Ads)

2. Engage prospects through outreach via email, messaging, and occasional follow-up calls.
3. Maintain organized lead records using CRM tools or spreadsheets.
4. Schedule meetings or demos between warm leads and the internal sales team.
5. Meet weekly and monthly lead generation targets.
6. Report regularly on lead progress and campaign effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role (preferably for a digital agency or marketing company).
  • Strong understanding of digital services (web design, PPC, online ads, social media marketing).
  • Hands-on experience using tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Google Sheets, Apollo/Hunter, etc.
  • Good spoken and written English.
  • Ability to work independently and meet KPIs consistently.
  • Must be willing to use a third-party time tracking tool (mandatory).
  • 6-month minimum commitment is required.
  • Candidate must successfully complete a short assignment to demonstrate relevant skills.

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Familiarity with CRM tools like Zoho, HubSpot, or similar.
  • Previous experience with platforms like Upwork, Freelancer, or B2B marketplaces.
  • Understanding of how digital agencies pitch and close clients.
