Roles & Responsibilities:

1. To support the Scholarship vertical with strategic finance insights, fund tracking, scholarship disbursement monitoring, and financial MIS reporting, ensuring transparency and efficiency in supporting high-potential students.

  • Collaborate with program teams to align financial planning with operational goals.
  • Provide financial insights to improve cost-effectiveness and impact of initiatives thus getting permanent savings.
  • Track and monitor budget vs. actuals on a monthly basis.
  • Create detailed budgets for scholarships (school, college, vocational).
  • Forecast fund requirements based on pipeline and disbursement schedules.
  • Monitor scholarship utilization against committed funds.
  • Assist in re-forecasting based on program performance and external changes.(Revised budget)
  • Design and deliver comprehensive monthly MIS reports, dashboards, and variance analyses.
  • Ensure data accuracy and timeliness in reporting to internal stakeholders and donors.

8. Prepare periodic fund utilization reports (FUR) and ensure compliance with internal controls.

9. Student & Disbursement Tracking

a. Maintain financial records of individual scholars, fee reimbursements, and direct benefit transfers.

b. Ensure controls on eligibility, disbursement cycles, and fund reconciliation.

c. Ensure proper documentation for audit trails – student records, fee slips, approvals.

d. Liaise with legal/compliance teams where required on financial due diligence.

  • Collaborate with program teams, banks, other companies associated for disbursements of scholarship to students ,
  • Track fund allocations and utilization against specific donor commitments.
  • Support in grant financial reporting, including audits and reconciliations.
  • Ensure internal controls are followed in financial transactions.
  • Support automation initiatives and process improvements across finance and program teams.

Candidate Specification:

Educational Qualification

CA Inter / CMA Inter / MBA (Finance) / M.Com / B.Com with relevant experience.

5 – 7 years

Technical Skills

· Understanding of CSR compliance and fund management in a non-profit environment.

Competencies

· Analytical, detail-oriented, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Other skills

Exposure to ERP platform (SAP/ERP Next)

Attributes

· Exposure to the education or social impact sectors.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
