Role: Business Head – Vasudha Foods

Location: Hyderabad Reporting To: Founder & CEO

The Business Head will lead Vasudha Foods’ journey of becoming a respected FMCG brand in India. This role calls for a seasoned leader who can define the go-to-market strategy, drive sales growth, and build a strong brand presence across offline and online channels.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Strategy & P&L

  • Define and own the business roadmap, sales targets, and profitability metrics.
  • Balance short-term revenue with long-term brand equity.

2. Go-to-Market Leadership

  • Develop and execute GTM strategy across digital platforms (D2C website, Amazon, Flipkart, quick-commerce, etc.) and offline distribution (institutional sales, modern trade, HoReCa).
  • Establish channel partnerships and alliances to scale distribution footprint.

3. Sales & Market Development

  • Build and manage sales channels to maximize market penetration.
  • Identify new markets, categories, and expansion opportunities.
  • Track competitor activity and consumer trends to refine strategy.

4. Brand & Marketing

  • Build Vasudha as a values-driven, high-trust FMCG brand.
  • Lead campaigns across online/offline, including influencer partnerships and experiential activations.
  • Ensure brand storytelling resonates with consumers and aligns with the mission.

5. Leadership & Stakeholder Management

  • Hire, mentor, and manage sales and marketing teams.
  • Collaborate with trustees and external stakeholders to align business with broader mission.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • 12–18 years’ experience in FMCG / Foods & Beverages / Consumer Packaged Goods.
  • Strong exposure to GTM strategy, distribution expansion, and brand building.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and market penetration.
  • Demonstrated P&L ownership and commercial acumen.
  • Entrepreneurial outlook—comfortable with scaling from the ground up.
  • Balanced mindset: commercially aggressive yet values-driven.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
