About the role


As a Business Intelligence Analyst at BizzyCar, you’ll turn data into a competitive advantage — uncovering insights that drive smarter decisions, stronger performance, and scalable growth across our B2B SaaS platform. You’ll work cross-functionally with teams across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Operations to translate complex data into clear narratives that influence strategy at every level of the organization.


In this role, you’ll design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports that empower stakeholders with actionable, self-serve insights. You’ll query data from Redshift, create visualizations in Tableau, and apply analytical techniques such as trend, cohort, and variance analysis to reveal patterns that shape business direction. You’ll also help define key metrics, ensure data integrity, and uphold governance standards to maintain a single source of truth across the company.


The ideal candidate combines strong technical ability with business intuition and storytelling skills. You’re comfortable diving deep into the data, validating assumptions, and communicating findings to both technical and non-technical audiences. This is a hands-on, high-impact role where curiosity, precision, and collaboration are key — and where your work will directly influence how BizzyCar measures success and drives growth.


What you'll do

  • Engage with business stakeholders to elicit requirements, define metrics and KPIs, and translate those into analytical solutions
  • Design, build, and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations (in Tableau) that enable self-serve insights
  • Query and transform data from Redshift (or supporting data sources), optimize performance, and ensure data quality
  • Perform exploratory and statistical analyses (trend, cohort, segmentation, variance, forecasting, etc.)
  • Identify patterns, anomalies, and insights from the data, then distill them into clear narratives and recommendations
  • Support ad hoc data requests, root cause investigations, and scenario modeling
  • Document definitions, data flows, logic, and assumptions to ensure transparency and reproducibility
  • Assist in defining and maintaining data governance, consistency, and best practices across the analytics stack
  • Occasionally partner with data engineers, data scientists, and IT to support data pipelines, instrumentation, and data integrity

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related)
  • 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or analytics roles (or equivalent)
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with Redshift or similar data warehouses
  • Experience building and maintaining dashboards and visualizations in Tableau (or a comparable BI tool)
  • Solid analytical foundation: comfort with statistical methods, trend analysis, cohorting, etc.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills: ability to explain complex findings to non-technical audiences
  • Strong attention to detail, data curiosity, and ability to dig into data to validate assumptions
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize, and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data integrity (or eagerness to learn)
  • Bonus / plus: experience with performance tuning, modeling, Python/R for analysis, or data engineering collaboration
