Business Intelligence Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst with strong expertise in Google BigQuery and Looker Studio to design, develop, and manage scalable data analytics solutions.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for building robust data pipelines, managing cloud-based data warehousing, and delivering interactive dashboards and reports that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization. This role bridges technical data engineering with business-facing analytics and reporting.

Data Warehousing & Pipeline Development

• Design, implement, and manage scalable data warehousing solutions using Google BigQuery.
• Develop and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate data from multiple sources (ERP, CRM, LMS, marketing platforms, APIs, etc.).
• Ensure data reliability, integrity, and security across the analytics environment.
• Implement data transformation and modeling best practices (star schema, dimensional modeling).

Dashboarding & Reporting

• Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using Looker Studio.
• Build automated, self-service BI solutions for stakeholders.
• Deliver executive-level dashboards focused on KPIs, trends, and performance metrics.
• Maintain documentation for dashboards, datasets, and reporting logic.

Data Analysis & Insights

• Collaborate with business units to gather reporting and analytics requirements.
• Analyze complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and improvement opportunities.
• Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders.
• Support strategic and operational decision-making through advanced data analysis.

Performance & Governance

• Optimize BigQuery queries for performance and cost efficiency.
• Monitor warehouse usage and BI tool performance.
• Ensure adherence to data governance, privacy, and security standards.
• Recommend improvements to analytics architecture and reporting processes.

Qualifications & Skills

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Information Systems, Statistics, or related field.

Technical Expertise

• Strong hands-on experience with Google BigQuery.
• Advanced SQL skills (joins, CTEs, window functions, aggregations).
• Expertise in Looker Studio dashboard development.
• Experience with ETL tools (Dataflow, dbt, Talend, or Python-based pipelines).
• Strong understanding of data modeling concepts.
• Experience integrating multiple systems and APIs.
• Familiarity with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) is a plus.

Experience Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, or related roles.
• Proven experience building data models and dashboards in BigQuery & Looker Studio.
• Experience handling large datasets and multi-source data environments.
