Business Intelligence Analyst

Gabriel & Co. is seeking a highly organized and analytically driven Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst to support cross-functional performance reporting and KPI visibility across the organization. Reporting directly to the Chief of Staff, this role will partner with department leaders across Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, Finance, Operations, Customer Service, and Digital to ensure business-critical KPIs are consistently tracked, updated on time, and communicated through compelling dashboards and reporting cadences.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on, entrepreneurial self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment,. The BI Analyst will play a highly cross-functional role with direct exposure to leadership decision-making and the chance to shape how the company measures performance at scale. This role will also work closely with Gabriel & Co.’s Technology and AI team to automate KPI collection, streamline recurring reporting, and improve accuracy, speed, and consistency across the business.

Key Responsibilities

KPI Ownership & Cross-Functional Reporting

  • Partner with leaders across departments to define, track, and maintain standardized KPIs across Sales, Marketing, Merchandising, Operations, Customer Service, Digital, and Finance.
  • Build and maintain KPI scorecards that drive accountability and decision-making at all levels of the business.
  • Serve as a central point of coordination for KPI reporting across teams to ensure consistency in definitions, metrics, and data sources.

Timely KPI Updates & Data Quality

  • Ensure KPI reporting is updated accurately and on schedule (daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly depending on the business cadence).
  • Proactively identify gaps, inconsistencies, or delays in KPI reporting and work with teams to resolve issues quickly.
  • Maintain documentation of KPI definitions, reporting inputs, and source-of-truth systems to ensure long-term reliability and scalability.

Dashboards & Executive Visibility

  • Design and build clear, intuitive, and visually compelling dashboards that make KPI performance easy to interpret for leadership and teams.
  • Translate complex operational and financial performance data into simple business insights.
  • Develop dashboards tailored for different audiences (executive view, department-level view, operational view).

Automation & Technology Enablement

  • Partner with the Technology and AI team to automate recurring KPI reporting, reduce manual effort, and improve timeliness and accuracy.
  • Recommend opportunities to leverage AI, analytics tools, or workflow automation to improve reporting speed and reduce friction.

Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in business intelligence, analytics, reporting, FP&A, operations analytics, or related roles.
  • Strong ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple stakeholders and reporting requirements simultaneously.
  • Experience building dashboards and reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Excel dashboards, etc.).
  • Strong proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets; working knowledge of SQL is a plus.
  • High attention to detail and strong instincts for data quality, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex metrics for business audiences.
  • Organized, proactive, and capable of operating with high ownership and urgency.
  • Experience supporting KPI cadences such as weekly scorecards, monthly operating reviews, and executive dashboards.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
