The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s data-driven insights ecosystem. At Corp Jezreel International, you will analyze large datasets to uncover trends in logistics, financial performance, and market shifts. Your goal is to move the organization from "reactive" reporting (looking at what happened) to "proactive" intelligence (predicting what will happen), ensuring that management has real-time, high-fidelity dashboards to guide their strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Mining & Cleaning: Extract and transform complex data from various sources (ERPs, CRM, and local Qatari market reports) to ensure a "single version of truth."
- Dashboard Development: Design and maintain interactive visualizations in Power BI or Tableau that track KPIs across departments (e.g., Supply Chain, Finance, and HR).
- Statistical Analysis: Apply statistical methods and data modeling to identify anomalies, evaluate risks, and assess the profitability of international operations.
- Business Process Optimization: Analyze internal workflows and support the design of automated processes to increase organizational efficiency.
- Stakeholder Storytelling: Translate technical data findings into clear, "executive-ready" presentations that highlight actionable opportunities for the leadership team.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor regional and global economic trends—specifically those affecting Doha’s trade corridors—to provide context to internal performance data.
- Data Governance: Establish and enforce standards for data quality, documentation, and security, in compliance with Qatar’s privacy laws.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years in data analytics or business intelligence, ideally within an international trading, logistics, or IT services environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Finance, Economics, or Computer Science.
- Technical Stack:
- Visualization: Expert proficiency in Power BI (DAX/Power Query) or Tableau.
- Databases: Strong SQL skills for data extraction and manipulation.
- Languages: Proficiency in Python or R for statistical modeling and automation is a significant advantage.
- Reporting: Mastery of advanced Excel and SharePoint for data management.
- Language: Professional English fluency is mandatory. Arabic is highly beneficial for analyzing local market data and communicating with regional stakeholders.
- Soft Skills: A "detective" mindset with the ability to spot patterns in noisy data and the communication skills to explain them simply.
