Van Ausdall & Farrar is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst & ECM Administrator to serve as the primary administrator and subject matter expert for Hyland OnBase Enterprise Content Management (ECM) solutions while supporting business process improvement initiatives across the organization.
This role combines technical system administration with business analysis responsibilities, acting as a liaison between customers, end users, vendors, and internal stakeholders. The Business Intelligence Analyst & ECM Administrator will support existing and future OnBase deployments through software installation, configuration, upgrades, workflow administration, troubleshooting, and customer support. In addition, this position will analyze business processes, gather requirements, recommend system improvements, and help drive operational efficiencies through technology solutions.
The ideal candidate possesses strong technical troubleshooting skills, experience supporting enterprise applications, and the ability to translate business needs into effective system solutions.
This is an onsite role reporting to our Indianapolis, Indiana office. Remote work flexibility may be considered for the ideal candidate.

What You Have
-
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Technology, Computer Science, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.

5+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications, document management systems, ECM platforms, or related technologies.

Experience troubleshooting software and system issues in a business environment.

Experience gathering requirements and supporting business process improvement initiatives.

Strong customer-facing communication and support experience.

Experience with Microsoft Windows environments and enterprise software platforms.

Ability to obtain and maintain industry certifications.
What You'll Do
Business Analysis & Process Improvement

Partner with internal departments and external customers to understand business processes, operational challenges, and technology needs.

Gather, document, and analyze business and system requirements

Identify opportunities to improve workflows, increase efficiency, and enhance user experience through technology solutions

Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, software vendors, and technical resources

Assist in evaluating, testing, and implementing new system features and enhancements

Create and maintain process documentation, workflow diagrams, and system documentation.

Provide recommendations for process automation and workflow optimization

Support project initiatives involving enterprise applications and business systems.
Enterprise Content Management (ECM) Administration
-
Serve as the primary administrator for Hyland OnBase ECM environments.

Support existing and future customer OnBase deployments.
-
Install, configure, upgrade, maintain, and troubleshoot OnBase software and related components.

Administer OnBase workflows, document types, user groups, security settings, retention settings, and system configurations.

Monitor system performance and proactively identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.

Perform software upgrades, patches, testing, and system maintenance activities.
-
Support integrations between OnBase and other business applications.
-
Maintain data integrity, system security, and application reliability.
-
Coordinate with Hyland and third-party vendors on escalated support issues.
Customer & Stakeholder Support

Respond to and manage support requests related to OnBase ECM solutions.

Troubleshoot software, workflow, security, and user access issues.

Provide support for software installations, upgrades, and implementations.
-
Deliver end-user training and onboarding for customers and internal users.
-
Communicate technical concepts and recommendations to non-technical audiences.

Develop and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and knowledge base articles.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships through responsive support and consultation.

Communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Serve as a liaison between customers, vendors, and internal departments.

Gather business requirements and recommend system improvements or solutions.
What You'll Bring to the Role

Hyland OnBase administration experience.

Hyland Certified OnBase Administrator certification.

Experience implementing, upgrading, and supporting ECM platforms.

Experience with workflow configuration and process automation.

Microsoft SQL Server experience.

Active Directory, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 administration experience.

Azure cloud experience.
-
PowerShell scripting and automation experience.

Experience supporting ERP, CRM, or other enterprise business applications.

CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft certifications, or equivalent experience.

Experience creating SOPs, technical documentation, and user training materials.
