Business Intelligence Architect

This opportunity is for a leading Energy & Gas giant in the UAE. We are seeking a highly skilled BI Architect to design robust, scalable data architectures. You will be responsible for the technical foundation of our analytics platform, ensuring it is secure, performant, and capable of handling enterprise-scale data.

Responsibilities

• Design the end-to-end architecture for Business Intelligence solutions, including data models, ETL pipelines, and semantic layers.
• Define and enforce technical standards, data governance, and security protocols for all BI implementations.
• Select and evaluate appropriate technology stacks and tools to meet business requirements.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure efficient data ingestion and transformation (ETL) processes.
• Optimize data warehouse and reporting performance to ensure fast query response times.
• Create and maintain detailed architectural documentation, including data flow diagrams and system integration maps.
• Ensure scalability of the BI environment to support growing data volumes and user concurrency.

Requirements

• 5–15 years of experience in BI Architecture and Data Engineering.
• Deep expertise in designing data warehouses, data marts, and star/snowflake schemas.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with enterprise BI tools (PowerBI, Tableau, etc.).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and modern data architectures (Data Lakehouse, Mesh).
• Solid understanding of data security, Single Sign-On (SSO), and role-based access control.
• Ability to lead technical teams and mentor developers on architectural best practices.

Bonus

• TOGAF or DAMA certifications.
• Experience designing BI solutions for large-scale industrial operations.
• Knowledge of AI/ML integration within BI architectures.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED12,000.00 - AED22,000.00 per month
