Business Intelligence Assistant Manager

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, MIS, Computer Science or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus)

• 6+ years (Assistant Manager) experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics or similar roles

• Proven experience in team management or mentoring BI/analytics teams

• Strong experience in data warehousing, data modeling, ETL/ELT processes

• Advanced knowledge of MS SQL Server and PostgreSQL

• Experience with BI tools (Power BI preferred) including dashboard design, data storytelling, and performance optimization

• Experience in large-scale data environments (high volume transactional systems

• Solid understanding of data architecture and system integration

• Experience working with Agile / Kanban methodologies

• Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security practices

• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders

• Experience in logistics, cargo, e-commerce or operational industries is a strong plus

• Ability to define BI strategy and roadmap aligned with business goals

• Experience in managing BI project lifecycle end-to-end

• Capability to prioritize business needs and translate them into data solutions

• Strong decision-making skills based on data insights

• Experience in stakeholder management

• Ability to build and maintain a data-driven culture across the organization

Job Descrıptıon

• Define and execute the company’s Business Intelligence and Data Strategy

• Lead and manage the BI team; assign tasks, monitor performance, and support team development

• Work closely with business units (Operations, Finance, Sales, etc.) to understand analytical needs

• Design and oversee data warehouse architecture and BI solutions

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability across all reporting systems

• Develop and maintain executive dashboards and KPI frameworks

• Transform raw data into actionable insights to support strategic decisions

• Manage end-to-end BI projects from requirement gathering to delivery

• Improve and optimize existing reporting systems and data pipelines

• Collaborate with IT and software teams for data integration and system improvements

• Establish data governance standards and best practices

• Monitor industry trends and introduce new BI tools, technologies, and methodologies

• Act as a bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders
