Summary: The Data Enablement Analyst ensures the organization’s data is accurate,
accessible, and actionable across systems. This position supports enterprise data governance
and quality by cataloging data assets, documenting metadata and business definitions, and
monitoring data integrity. The role enables cross-functional teams to confidently use and
understand organizational data, reduce reporting discrepancies, and improve decision-making.
By maintaining trusted data foundations, this position will drive efficiency, transparency, and
evidence-based insights across Blood Cancer United.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Data Quality and Governance
  • Oversee and maintain data quality and enablement across systems by validating data accuracy, defining standards, and ensuring consistent data usage organization wide.
  • Implement and monitor data quality checks and dashboards across key business areas to proactively identify and resolve data integrity issues.
  • Partner with IT and analytics teams to ensure master data management (MDM) and data lineage practices align with enterprise governance standards.
  • Support compliance with data protection regulations, ensuring governance practices meet organizational and regulatory expectations.
Data Cataloging and Documentation
  • Develop and manage the enterprise data catalog (Secoda), maintaining metadata documentation, glossary definitions, and data ownership details.
  • Ensure consistent tagging, classification, and accessibility of data assets to improve discoverability and usability.
  • Collaborate with business owners to document data sources, transformations, and business rules to improve transparency and trust in reporting.
Enablement and Collaboration
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data literacy, establish governance practices, and drive adoption of standardized data definitions and reporting.
  • Conduct training sessions and develop reference materials that promote understanding of data assets, governance processes, and catalog usage.
  • Partner with Business Intelligence and Analytics teams to align data enablement activities with strategic analytics and automation initiatives.
Access and Security
  • Support data access governance by coordinating and administering data access requests through Secoda, ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Manage access controls and permissions to maintain secure and compliant data usage.
  • Collaborate with system administrators and cybersecurity teams to ensure alignment between data enablement and security protocols.
Continuous Improvement
  • Assist in the continuous improvement of data infrastructure, contributing to analytics readiness, automation, and AI enablement initiatives.
  • Identify and recommend opportunities to streamline data workflows, enhance quality monitoring, and improve metadata management.
  • Stay current with emerging tools, technologies, and practices in data governance and enablement.

Education & Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Data Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Equivalent skills and experience are also acceptable.
  • 3-5 years of experience in data management, analytics enablement, or business intelligence roles.
  • Familiarity with data cataloging tools (e.g., Secoda, Alation, Collibra) and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Working knowledge of SQL and data warehouse concepts is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of metadata management, data lineage, and data quality principles.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex data concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working in a matrixed, cross-functional environment preferred.

We are excited to share the base pay range for this position is $92,000 to $98,000. The offered compensation may vary based on factors such as geographic location, business need, market conditions, proficiencies, skills, education, and experience. Additionally, at Blood Cancer United we place a high value on internal pay equity and will consider the current compensation of similarly situated roles and direct team members. Base compensation is only one component of our Total Rewards program, which also includes an annual incentive plan and a competitive benefits package.
