To strengthen our finance and analytics team in Muscat, we are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence (Finance) Specialist to design, manage, and optimize BI solutions that support strategic financial growth.

Role Overview

The Business Intelligence (Finance) Specialist will be responsible for developing financial dashboards, managing data models, and delivering actionable insights to senior leadership. This role requires strong technical expertise, financial acumen, and the ability to translate complex data into clear strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and maintain BI dashboards and reports for financial performance tracking.
• Develop and optimize financial data models to support forecasting and planning.
• Collaborate with finance, IT, and operations teams to ensure data accuracy.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of financial KPIs, trends, and variances.
• Ensure compliance with data governance and security standards.
• Provide insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.
• Support automation initiatives to streamline financial reporting processes.
• Mentor junior analysts and contribute to BI team development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business intelligence, financial analytics, or data modeling.
• Strong knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik) and SQL.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial reporting platforms.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and big data technologies.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Fluency in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.
