Business Intelligence Intern

The Business Intelligence Intern assists the Business Intelligence team in assigned aspects of improving the user experience through technological development. This position may also assist in regular office information technology support.

What you are responsible for...

To be successful in this position, one must be able to satisfactorily perform each of the essential duties and responsibilities listed in the functions below, under the direct supervision and guidance of the Director of Information Systems:

  • Gain general knowledge of the main functions of the Business Intelligence team and learn how those functions affect the company
  • Assist in diagnosing and resolving reported software defects to improve application stability and the user experience
  • Assist in developing and expanding automated test coverage to ensure application reliability and catch regressions
  • Assist in refactoring code and documenting components and processes to improve maintainability and support team knowledge sharing
  • Provides technical support to other departments assigned

What is required to be successful in this role...

Education and Experience

Completion of high school or college coursework in related field
